Like the AirPods, the BeatsX earbuds have been the subject of a number of lengthy delays, but now they’re finally set to make their way to retail. Apple has officially announced a February 10 launch for the the Beats release, which boasts up to eight hours of battery life and quick charging that gets you two hours of playback in just five minutes. Perhaps best of all, though, the earbuds utilize the same Apple-designed W1 chip found in the AirPods for quick and easy pairing with iOS devices and Macs — BeatsX is still fully compatible with non-Apple devices, however — and come complete with a tangle-free Flex-Form cable, magnets that attach the buds together when they’re not in use, and a carrying case.

Look for BeatsX to drop online and hit shelves for $149.95 USD this Friday.
