Orange County fire officials have evacuated at least 1,000 homes as a fast-moving fire in the Anaheim Hills spat smoke into the air and scorched several structures Monday. The fire had grown to nearly 5,000 acres in size by late Monday afternoon, and as many as 4,000 area residents had been impacted, said Sgt.
