Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf is wanting state legislators to legalize marijuana in the state. Gov. Wolf says tax revenue from marijuana legalization will help support small businesses which are suffering from shutdowns due to covid-19.
Other tax revenues will go toward “restorative justice programs that give priority to repairing the harm done to crime victims and communities as a result of marijuana criminalization.”
Medical marijuana has been legal in in Pennsylvania since 2016 when Tom Wolf signed the legislation.
