Research shows 63% of Republican Millennials favor marijuana legalization

PEW Research column FactTank, released some rather surprising survey facts revolving around marijuana last Friday.

“Six-in-ten (63%) GOP Millennials say the use of marijuana should be made legal, while 35% say it should be illegal, according to our February 2014 survey.” – PEW Research

One great point associate digital producer George Gao goes on to make is that the heated debate in the Nation’s capital over the legalization of marijuana is gaining a lot of conservative attention right before the 2016 Presidential Election. Gao also went on to share that research shows us today, “Boomers’ support for legalizing marijuana is greater than it was four decades ago”.

It seems as if all the old timers who have been enforcing marijuana prohibition are loosing headway, even within their own conservative parties. With all the potenpeneurs popping up all over the place it doesn’t take research or a genius to see that the last generation of MMJ prohibition is on it’s way out the door.

It seems like the whole world can see what’s coming but here is the real question I want to ask my readers though, if marijuana was to be legalized all the way across the board, how should it be taxed and regulated? Leave a comment and share your thoughts below.
