Fifty years into their career, there aren’t many to-dos left unchecked for The Rolling Stones. One thing they’ve never done, however, is play a gig in Cuba. That’ll change come Friday, March 25th when the legendary rockers stage a free concert at the Ciudad Deportiva de la Habana.
Plans for the “Concert for Amity” have been in the works since the United States restored diplomatic relations with Cuba last year, and the band will hit the stage just days after President Barack Obama visits the country for the first time.
The concert will be filmed for an eventual release.
