ANT-MAN & THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA

There’s something to be said for a film that continues to push the envelope, but when it comes to “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” it’s clear that director Peyton Reed has no intention of playing it safe. This highly-anticipated sequel takes the action-packed antics of the first two films and ups the ante in a big way.

Paul Rudd returns as the titular Ant-Man, and he’s joined by Evangeline Lilly as the Wasp, as well as Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer as the original Ant-Man and the Wasp. New to the franchise are Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang and Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror.

The plot of the movie is a bit of a mystery, but we do know that Kang the Conqueror has traveled back in time to wreak havoc on the future. In order to prevent the destruction of their world, Ant-Man and the Wasp must team up with the Quantum Realm’s newest inhabitant, Cassie Lang, to take on this formidable foe.

The action sequences in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” are as thrilling as ever and the special effects are top-notch. The film is also filled with plenty of humor, both from our heroes and from the villains. It’s a fast-paced adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
