A sweet treat for chocolate lovers everywhere: Russell Stover has officially broken a Guinness World Record for their largest box of chocolates. The box weighs in at a whopping 5,000 pounds and contains about 4,000 pieces of candy. It measures 30-feet 4 inches wide, 15-feet 5 inches tall.
The box was unveiled earlier this month in celebration of the company’s 100th anniversary. It was filled with a mix of classic and seasonal Russell Stover chocolates, including coconut, peanut butter, and caramel varieties.
In a statement, the company said, “This is a special way to celebrate our 103rd anniversary. We hope our record-breaking effort will bring joy to chocolate lovers everywhere.”
The box of chocolates was displayed at the Russell Stover flagship store in Kansas City, Missouri and was then donated to a local food bank.
So if you’re looking to add a bit of sweetness to your day, why not try Russell Stover’s record-breaking box of chocolates?
