High & Hungry – Correa’s Mariscos
Chef Edgar & family relocated Correa’s Mariscos next to the USC Medical Center in East Los Angeles and their business has been booming since. Even though thay’re known for their ceviche but they have expanded their menu as of recent. We came to a typical lunch rush in this episode and folks from all over come by and buy food and their food is great. In this episode, Edgar whipped up beer-battered mahi mahi tacos as well as the grilled version which both are great. Chef Edgar also whipped up the ribeye steak taco which is to DIE for. If you wanted a good red meat taco, go to Correa’s. They also have a bigger menu with all kinds of dishes that anyone can enjoy such as the blackened shrimp tostada and it’s always made to order. For a small mom & pop, they’re killing it and they’ll expand as time comes. Enjoy
